Now I haven’t any phantasm that baked beignets may also most likely evaluate to the fried deliciousness you get in NOLA (I made a day by day trek to Cafe Beignet right through my remaining consult with – dare I say higher than Cafe du Monde?) however I used to be intrigued to cause them to after studying the put up & recipe from Jenna @ Consume Are living Run, which she tailored from Just right Housework. After baking and tasting – I believe her, when doused in powdered sugar, their yeasty, candy goodness indisputably hit the spot.

So laissez les bon temps rouler and right here’s my up to date recipe the place I added in complete wheat pastry flour and nutmeg.
