President Joe Biden confronted a convergence of problems this week—home, overseas, and familial.

The Biden management’s request for added help for Ukraine has stalled as Area and Senate Republicans are prioritizing negotiations over border-security insurance policies. Tensions between President Biden and Israeli Top Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the struggle in Gaza have spilled into the open. And Hunter Biden, the president’s most effective surviving son, defied a congressional subpoena and as an alternative introduced once more to testify in public in entrance of the Republican-led Area committees investigating him. All of this comes because the Area voted alongside birthday party strains to formally open its impeachment inquiry into the president.

Becoming a member of the visitor moderator and a group of workers author at The Atlantic, Franklin Foer,  to speak about this and extra are Steve Inskeep, a co-host of NPR’s Morning Version; Jonathan Karl, the executive Washington correspondent at ABC Information and the writer of Bored with Profitable: Donald Trump and the Finish of the Grand Previous Birthday party; and Asma Khalid, a White Area correspondent at NPR and a political contributor at ABC Information.
